📰 NEWS ON THE ROAD

Labor Day weekend was a great four days in Myrtle Beach wrapping up the Top Gun All-American Games. I had the opportunity to connect with so many new players, parents, coaches and staff members. Great people, great atmosphere and a first-class organization from start to finish!

It was a quick turnaround coming home as we kicked off a new Everyday Slowpitch series following CJ’s journey into the game. We’ll get that rolling on YouTube as time permits.

This weekend:

Friday and Saturday — Senior Slowpitch in Dalton, Georgia
Sunday — Polk County College Baseball at the Auburndale Sports Complex

Next week gets wild! Thursday flight to Cincinnati, then Friday night with the Long Haul Bombers following the Reds and Cubs game. Early Saturday morning, I’m flying to the West Coast for the wedding of a longtime friend’s daughter whom I’ve known since 2004. Definitely a full-circle moment. Then Sunday, it’s back home and into the dugout in Lake Mary.

After that, we’ll finish up the WSL Worlds September 24–26 before heading to Las Vegas the first week of October.

Busy, fulfilling and blessed. Excited about what’s ahead with Everyday Slowpitch, CJ’s journey, the Dirt Crew Performance Center and the Marucci Mobile Tour gearing up for 2027!
